THE GREATEST LOVE

Early in the morning just before the "sunrise"

I gaze towards the "Heavens" with sleepy eyes

I thank God for awaking me out of my sleep

Then I place all my burdens at His feet

Asking Him to give "blessings" to all for whom I care

Knowing for them He will always be there

Asking Him for guidance of another day

In keeping my path straight in His "Holy Way"

Thanking Him for watching over my family as they sleep

Not letting them be swallowed up into the deep

But ushering His "Angels" from the Heavens above

To watch over us protectively shielded and loved

For awaking me out of last night's sleep

For protecting me as I venture into the street

For keeping a roof over my head

For putting food on the table that I may be fed

For keeping me financially able to pay my bills

Blessing me with good health instead of being ill

I thank you my "Heavenly Father" for all of the above

For truly, You have given me "The Greatest of Love"
