After almost three weeks with no Saturday market, we are very excited to be back this weekend! And we are even bigger and better than before!
In April, the market moves back to Hancock Street with over 25 vendors offering the best of the region's agricultural products. We'll have more farms, more produce, more vegetable starts and ornamental plants and more of everything you loved at the winter markets (including the return of coffee!!). Plus our knife sharpener will be at both markets!
In other news, have you heard about the 1st Annual Portland EcoFilm Festival happening at our very own neighborhood theatre? The Hollywood Theatre is hosting 6 screenings of new films covering topics of sustainability, food supply, nature, farming culture, and the environment. The first film, Symphony of the Soil will show next Thursday, April 11th and we have tickets to give away to the first screening! Just come by the information booth at this Saturday to enter the drawing to win 2 tickets to the film!
See you at the market!
