A Great Memorial Day Weekend

The Association's Annual Meeting was held this past Memorial Day weekend on Saturday, May 28, 2016 and we had a great turnout. Eighty eight owners attended the meeting in person and over 160 ballots were received prior to the meeting. This represented over 30 percent of the property owners which was a great turnout. Minutes of the meeting will be posted on the Association's website when they are completed.

That same evening we held our annual pot luck dinner with many owners attending and there was plenty of great food - no one went hungry. Thanks to all our owners who attended the meeting and pot luck - a sign of great community spirit.
Summer/Fall Activity Schedule - so far....

The Clubhouse/Recreation Committee has again put together a fun filled event and activity schedule (click here for summer schedule). We hope you will join your fellow Chimney Hillers for these fun filled times.
Reminder concerning all terrain vehicles
 (4 wheelers) and dirt bikes

Please note that all terrain vehicles (4 wheelers) and dirt bikes are not permitted on Chimney Hill roads, maintenance access roads or any trails in Chimney Hill (including the VAST trails and Wilmington hiking trails). Any persons violating this rule will be reported to the Wilmington Police Department and reprimands (including possible fines) from the Association. If you notice any of these violations please report them to the Chimney Hill office.
Architectural Control Committee
Spring Reminder

The committee would like to remind owners that any maintenance projects to the home need to be reviewed and approved by the Committee. This includes but is not limited to; painting/staining, window and door replacement, deck repairs, roofs, etc. In most cases just a letter to the office will be all that is required. If you are doing any work that involves new construction or changes the existing footprint of the property you will most likely need a Chimney Hill permit and Town of Wilmington zoning permit. Not sure if you need approval or permit? Contact Ken Spicer at the Chimney Hill office for assistance.
Assessment Reminder

This year's annual assessment was mailed to all Chimney Hill Owners on April 1, 2016. The association relies on these funds for the operation of the association and we hope you will mail in the assessment payment as soon as possible. Failure to pay your annual assessments by July 1, 2016 will result in interest charges retroactive to April 1, 2016.
Coming this Summer to Chimney Hill...
Magical Earth Adventures Summer Day Camp
 July 25 - 29, 2016
Our days at Magical Earth Adventures Summer Day camp are filled with exercise, writing, art and crafts, learning in and from nature, science, math and even some geography.  Each day begins with a sharing circle and we take time to express our gratitude.  Then off into the woods where we learn to see the world around us, as well as learn about the flora and fauna in our area.  We teach the children to respect the natural world and hopefully to gain a new found knowledge enabling them to be the earth's future custodians.

A previous parent, a Chimney Hill owner, says the following:

"My two boys (ages 8 and 10) attended Magical Earth Summer Adventure camp last summer in Marlboro, Vt. Words cannot express what an incredible time they had...building forts in the woods, learning to forage wild plants, making natural dyes, walking sticks and more! Outside all day long, it was a "magical" experience. They are so excited to go back this summer they may do two weeks."

Our regular price for one child is $225, but Chimney Hill residents will be offered a discounted price of $175.

Registration is available online at the link below:
