Put the Burn on High Energy Bills - Get an Efficient Central Furnace
Many older homes were built with inefficient furnaces. If yours cranks away endlessly and you are experiencing high gas bills, it may be time to replace the old unit.
Fast Facts:
- Gas furnace efficiency is measured by Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE)
- For best efficiency, your new furnace should have a rating of at least 92% AFUE
The good news is that Home Upgrade provides statewide rebates to offset the cost and your choice of The Energy Network's trained and licensed Participating Contractors to do the installation. Visit www.tenres.com to learn more. Start saving money and improving your home's efficiency, comfort, and resale value.
- Water heater efficiency is measured by Energy Factor (EF): the higher the percentage, the lower the energy loss.
- For best efficiency, your new water heater should have an EF of at least 0.67, preferably higher.
To get started on your Home Upgrade visit our website and choose one of The Energy Network's trained and licensed Participating Contractors at http://tenres.com/findacontractor. Start saving money and improving your home's efficiency, comfort and resale value.
