NEW Southern California Edison Incentives
Aliso Canyon supplies gas to power plants in the Los Angeles Basin. In late 2015, a leak at was discovered that has reduced the facility to one-fifth of its capacity, causing several scheduled blackouts and possibly other electric power curtailments.

Southern California Edison is offering its customers incentive programs in response. Both programs listed below run until the end of the year.
Demand Response Program

NRG Curtailment Solutions (NRGCS), in partnership with Lockheed Martin Energy, has entered into an exclusive contract with Southern California Edison (SCE) specifically geared towards the relief of the Los Angeles area during the Aliso Canyon gas shortage.

The program offers advanced notice of potential blackouts and financial incentives to businesses that are able to reduce electricity usage during times of peak demand.

LED Incentive

1. This is for customers with existing T12 troffers and wish to replace them with an LED retrofit kit.  The Incentive ranges between $20 & $60 per fixture, dependent upon equipment selection.

2. This is for customers who have existing 4-foot Linear Fluorescent T8 lamps and wish to replace them with 4-foot LED "Plug and Play" tubes.  The incentive is $4 per lamp.
