 In life, it's not only about the destination, it's also how you get there. That's why we are excited to invite you, our Green Building Challenge participants, to test drive our new mobility program, Travel Pal. This online tool is designed to help you plan your trips while encouraging environmentally friendly and healthy mobility choices. From ride sharing to local events to carpooling the kids to school to commuting to work or even to choosing a bike or transit route, the Travel Pal will instantly connect you with the best ways to get to your South Bay destinations. Be sure to check out the Events tab, where you will not only find out about special events in the South Bay, but also you may discover someone to share the ride with! We hope you enjoy being the first to test drive Travel Pal. Did we mention you can take us with you? We're mobile friendly! Energy Upgrade CA, a state initiative dedicated to helping Californians take action to save energy and conserve natural resources, has a new tool, MyEnergyUpgrade, designed to help small businesses save energy and money. The tool provides custom plans and recommendations for small business owners looking to increase energy and water efficiency and generate significant savings.
- Signing up for "peak day" energy pricing
- Updating lighting to energy-efficient bulbs
- Using commercial ENERGY STAR® appliances
- Scheduling a maintenance checkup for heating and cooling systems

- Conduct a Commuter Survey - up to 300 points (Tenant or Prop TPT-001)
- Implement a Ridesharing Program - 100 points (Tenant TPT-004 or Prop TPT-005)
- Promote Clean Transportation Alternatives - up to 300 points (Tenant TPT-005 or Prop TPT-002)
