Energy Upgrade Logo
You may notice something called a California Climate Credit on your personal or business utility bill. This credit is your share of money from a state program that is fighting climate change by limiting the amount of carbon pollution our largest industries put into the atmospher. You receive your credit automatically if you're eligible, and it's yours to keep.  Read More
Participant Spotlight:
South Bay Workforce Investment Board
The South Bay Workforce Investment Board and the South Bay One-Stop Business and Career Centers are a cooperative partnership of business, employment development, education, training, local government, public as well as non-profit organizations, committed to developing job skills, abilities and attitudes essential for participation in today's workplace.

The Centers encourage alternative transportation by providing metro or bus vouchers for transitional subsidized employment participants.  Their conservation efforts include working with Green Hapas to recycle used toner cartridges and participation in a paper shredding and recycling program. The Centers continually reduce paper usage by transitioning to electronic filing, billing, tracking, reporting, communications, and are developing methods to connect with the public through social media and online resources. To keep their buildings running efficiently, energy usage at all their locations will be assessed to uncover potential savings opportunities.  Contact us at gbc@southbaycities.org to learn how your business can receive free resources to help save energy and earn up to 500 points for Tenant or Prop ENR-005.
