 Participant Spotlight: Butler, Inc
At Butler Inc. in Gardena, owner John Hollern has made tremendous strides to decrease his company's environmental footprint.  The aerospace fastener company worked with HD Conservation to reduce their total water usage by over 90% through leak detection, installation of water saving devices, and upgraded machinery.  These efforts yielded annual water and sewer savings in excess of $10,000. Butler also worked with Southern California Edison through the Direct Install program to complete energy saving retrofits in the 10,000 sq/ft building, installing LED's and motion sensors.  The energy savings and brighter workplace had an immediate impact on the company's morale and profits. These impactful retrofits are a huge success for the company and for the environment.
