NID District Communicators Network Meeting
The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, January 19, 2017, 10 a.m., and will be held at the Northern Illinois District Office, 2301 S. Wolf Road, Hillside. The goal of our meetings is to not to just have another meeting to attend but create an environment to exchange ideas and address challenges in our vocation as Church Communicators. All NID communicators are invited to attend.

Martin Luther King Day Reformation 500
The inaugural Reformation 500 activity on the Concordia University Chicago campus is a Martin Luther King Day worship service, lunch and seminar featuring keynote speaker Dr. John Nunes and breakout sessions for church workers, students, your congregation and the community.
 
NID pastors are encouraged to join in the opening worship service procession with vestments and red stoles.

Part-time Organist, Huntley
Trinity Lutheran Church, 11008 N. Church St., Huntley, is seeking a qualified part-time organist to begin February 1, 2017.

• Provide organ music at two Sunday worship services and mid-week and special services (Advent, Christmas, Lent, Holy Week, Thanksgiving, etc., as needed).
• Schedule substitute organists when not available.
• Compensation will be on a per service basis.
• Vocal and Bell Choir experience not necessary, but would be a plus.
