Advocates Needed - Free TLC Community ClinicEach year Trinity Lutheran Church and School hosts a free community clinic for those in need. Guests have access to free medical and dental screenings, free flu shots, healing prayer, a free "store" for needed household items, free winter coats, a hot meal, free haircuts, a free family photo, and much more. One of the most important roles is acting as an advocate to the guests that are warmly welcomed. There are often over 300 guests, so need lots of helpers! Those who enjoy visiting with people as well as being a good listener are encouraged to sign up to be an advocate - no special skills are required, but the volunteer should be able to be on their feet and navigate up and down stairs. The minimum age requirement is 16. The guest advocate role is one of a servant - the advocate will attend to every need of their guest(s) during their visit to the Clinic. Guest advocate training for new advocates will be held. Contact Advocate Coordinator, Lori Trinche or 630-665-5238 for more details or to sign up. Print information sheet

Your Ministry's Strategic Challenges AnsweredMinistry support services from the Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF) empower your ministry with the tools you need to answer today's most difficult strategic challenges. MissionInsite's PeopleView System uniquely integrates information about your congregation with demographic information to determine the best opportunities for advancing your ministry. The system offers three essential views as you consider new mission opportunities. Core View provides insight into your organizational identity. Community View outlines opportunities for mission field diversity. Fusion View combines that information to facilitate analysis of ministry opportunities. Bridge the gap between data and actionable information with MissionInsite's PeopleView System. For more information, please contact Vanda Toner, LCEF Northern Illinois District Vice President. For information on LCEF, contact Vanda Toner at 708-223-3117 or Vanda.Toner@lcef.org. August 2016 Rates facebook.com/lcef.nid
