Keeping Your Balance
One of the principles used in training is the "Balance Principle." It states that the church planter's spiritual life, family life, and ministry life must be in biblical balance. As the business and busyness of church life kicks in this season, it's healthy for planters, pastors, and mission leaders to take inventory of their personal balance. How do you do it all without burning out? Print article From Center for US Missions

Can Congregations Minister To Young Adults? Most young adults are not hostile to organized religion, but the majority of them are unaffiliated and many describe church as irrelevant to their lives. Still, a broad range of faith groups have found ways to minister to this important demographic. Print article From Parish Paper

Desperation is Not a Fundraising StrategyCommunication that is saturated with desperation doesn't motivate donors to give generously. But nonprofits [churches] talk a lot about their own needs in fundraising appeals - and that might stem from worry. However, acting out of worry and desperation won't motivate donors. Instead of telling people about your needs, work on connecting them with your cause. Advice for nonprofits from "Achieve"
