When one kitchen closes in Pittsburgh, another one opens in Philadelphia.

When one kitchen closes, another one opens.  After three years of researching the East Coast, I am excited to share my relocation to Philadelphia at the end of the month.  The East Coast is refreshing and abundant in energy, mindset, and opportunities.  It is a New Year for you, for me, and a rebirth of Life in Nancy's Kitchen.

Since transitioning my Silver Lining Solutions organizational consulting and keynote speaking business into the fun and tasty brand, Life in Nancy's Kitchen, I have visualized and tweaked its evolvement with products and services that can make a difference within people and society.  The long-term business plan is to open a diner that provides an inspirational dining experience; and if I am lucky, land a few spots on television. No matter what I do, I will always stay true to my calling of inspiring and teaching people how to overcome their challenges and get happy.

One of the challenges that I have been facing is determining how to best express to you what Life in Nancy's Kitchen is all about.  The new name and approach have been confusing for many who knew me from past experiences as an organizational development consultant, keynote speaker, corporate trainer, or as a life or career coach.  Then, food and cooking were tossed into the mix of developing people and companies.  People were wondering, "Is this about cooking or self-help?"  People did not know how I could serve them.

So over the past few months, I worked behind the scenes and created a new logo, tag line, website content, and an explainer video.  Hopefully these improvements will help you understand how I married my love of food and cooking with my love of helping people live a better life.  I have also been enjoying cooking classes at Gaynors School of Cooking and Crate.  I intend on taking more cooking classes in Philadelphia. I am determined to do what it takes to help people live better in and out of the kitchen.

To live your best life, you need to keep making tweaks and taking action to enhance your uniqueness and skills.  And at times, you must close some doors to open new ones. Whether you are doing a complete makeover this year or just a few touch-ups, you are expressing a new you.  In today's competitive society of constant change, you must do something to avoid settling and falling behind. Just like cooking requires the changing of temperatures and flavors, life requires the changing of attitudes and behaviors. So, spice up your life, and make it hot!  I challenge you to make a tweak or two in the expression of yourself this year. 2016 is YOUR year to sizzle!

I look forward to serving you some delicious goodness this year.
