Beginning on April 14, The Women's Business Center will offer a series of five IT workshops entitled Marketing in the Digital Age, presented by Ray Norris, ITSOkc (Information Technology Services of Kansas City).

April 28: Websites - Everything You Should Know
This workshop is about how small business can and should be in the driver's seat when it comes to their website. Its a workshop on what works and what doesn't work. At the conclusion, each person will understand the steps they need to follow to insure their website represents them and their business well.

A House Committee on Small Business hearing last week covered the topic of "Business Incubators and Their Role in Job Creation." Testifying before the committee was Dr. Robert Strom of the Kauffman Foundation who called the newfound attention "the silver lining to the economic crisis our country now faces."
