SolidLine Stats Soar Halfway Through 2016 with Production in 13 Countries

Phew! 2016 is already halfway over, and the time has certainly been flying... So has the SLM crew -- pretty much every week. With nearly 100 flights thus far in 2016, you'd think we would have our own airfield outside of SolidLine HQ! We've filmed in a third of the US and have plenty of international travel under our belts since January as well (Australia, Qatar, Canada, Pakistan, Brazil, Colombia, UK, Germany, Singapore, Korea, Mexico, and Thailand). But all of this awesome travel wouldn't be possible without our clients who keep us busy doing what we do best. And a special shout out to the super talented SLM Crew for keeping up with the rigorous production life we live every day. Here's to an amazing second half of 2016 -- Cheers!

SLM Productions Used to Train Over 500 New Medical Residents in DC

Earlier this month, 500 new medical residents at MedStar Health kicked off their careers with a 3-day orientation in Washington DC, MedStar Foundations. But this was no ordinary orientation. The entire curriculum was based off the Academy for Emerging Leaders in Patient Safety model and brought patient safety and transparency to the forefront on day 1 of these new doctors' careers. Several SolidLine Media produced videos were made part of the curriculum, including Please See Me, From Tears to Transparency: The Story of Lewis Blackman, and Annie's Story. Never before has a major healthcare system gathered their new doctors for this kind of a patient safety focused orientation. MedStar is setting the gold standard for healthcare in America when it comes to highly reliable, safe and transparent care.

"It was great to see the Academy for Emerging Leaders in Patient Safety curricular model continue to grow," states MedStar Health VP of Quality and Safety Dave Mayer, MD. "After two successful safety camps this year in Doha and Sydney, as well as our US based camps in Telluride, Colorado, implementing the curricular experience to almost 500 new residents and fellows at MedStar Health was an amazing next step."

DHL Brings Home Stevie Award for SLM Produced Video

The results are in folks! We're excited to announce that DHL brought home a Stevie Award for the Town Hall employee communications videos we help them produce quarterly. The Stevie Awards recognize excellence in videos produced for a business-related purpose, and DHL's Town Halls won under the Internal Communications category. DHL's Director of Corporate Communications, Jennifer Pakradooni, and her colleague, Andrea Scarpulla, headed to New York from Miami to accept the award on behalf of DHL. We are all proud here at SolidLine for this accomplishment and to share in the recognition with our longtime friends at DHL. Congrats!
