The Crew Corner

If you could create your signature burger, what would it be?

John Courchane, Editor
Not sure, but I would season it with the salt of St. Louis fans' tears.

Ed Boe, Director of Photography
Avocado, bacon, bratwurst, mango chutney, and spiders! I'll call it the "Nature's Own Burger"  or the "NOB."

Adam Marzec, Motion Graphics Artist
I would call it the McMarzec: Two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions, and fried egg on a pretzel bun.

Allison Miller, Producer
I'd call it the Miss Mae and it would taste something like the cross between a nap, a bubble bath, and bacon. Served on anything except a pretzel bun, because pretzel buns are gross.

Michael Kromm, Director of Post Production
The double H or HH -- 2 patties with american cheese, 1 hotdog split open with american cheese, 2 chicken strips topped with homemade ranch dressing.

Greg Vass, Executive Producer
The SolidLiner. An old crew favorite from the days on the SLM bus. Ground chicken with taco seasonings, topped with pepperjack cheese and homemade guacamole, on an onion bun.

SolidLine Produces ASUG Keynote to Over 15,000 in Orlando

May just wouldn't be the same without collaborating with our pals at ASUG, and for the eighth year in a row, most of the SLM crew headed down to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando to debut and produce a slew of awesome videos. The ASUG Annual Conference and SAP SAPPHIRE NOW attracted over 15,000 attendees and featured a massive keynote presentation produced by SolidLine. Shown on a 300 ft wide by 16 ft tall curved screen that wrapped around the audience, the four separate SolidLine productions that debuted included a conference opener and a great video about a training program that puts Veterans to work in SAP careers. We also produced ten topic videos on-site that are being distributed to ASUG members so they can learn more from their peers on a variety of important SAP issues.

"SolidLine raises the bar every time we work together, even after eight years," states Tom Wailgum, ASUG's VP of Media and Member Engagement. "We can rely on them to get the production done in the most efficient and creative way possible, and their attention to detail constantly impresses our team and, most importantly, our members."

SLM Produces Onsite Conference Video at the Cleveland Clinic Patient Experience Summit

This month, the SLM crew traveled to Cleveland to attend Cleveland Clinic's Patient Experience Summit, and we put our production skills to the test. The conference, also known as the Empathy & Innovation Summit, is devoted to exploring the patient experience as a key differentiator essential to the future of healthcare delivery. SolidLine was there to promote Minute for Medicine and also to produce a conference wrap-up video that we filmed throughout the 4 day event and edited on-site. With over 2,000 attendees watching the wrap-up video, it's easy to say our time spent in Cleveland was a great success.

"We had a blast at the Cleveland Clinic Summit!" states Ali Miller, SLM Producer. "So many people were engaged in learning more about Minute for Medicine and willing to help out when we were filming interviews and capturing b-roll footage at the event. We met a lot of great folks who are devoted to making the patient experience better every day."

SLM Helps Rosecrance Celebrate 100 Years

Rosecrance Health Network provides substance abuse and behavioral health services to over 22,000 families each year, and 2016 marks their 100th year of changing lives. This accomplishment was celebrated at the 2016 Rosecrance annual benefit in Rockford, IL. SolidLine produced two videos for this event, a 100 year history video to open the night and a feature video, which told the stories of three recovering adults who had received help through Rosecrance. These stories of hope and inspiration moved the audience and set a meaningful tone for the night. The benefit's proceeds support the Kinley Charity Care Fund, which helps families needing financial assistance for a loved one's treatment for substance abuse or mental health disorders. The SolidLine crew is proud to be a part of such an important benefit and to be associated with the wonderful Rosecrance organization.
