Centering my Base, or Root, Chakra. Each Chakra is associated with a particular part of the body and gland.  When the chakras are balanced and energy is flowing freely, a sense of physical well-being is achieved. When the physical body is in a state of well being, the mind is at ease.  When chakras are balanced and energy is flowing freely, a state of mental clarity is attained. When the chakras are balanced and energy is flowing freely, our energetic vibrational rate rises, allowing us to experience more of our true divine nature and connection with the sea of Universal Life energy that permeates all things.

SolidLine Celebrates 14 Years in Business

It's that time of year for the SolidLine crew to blow out the birthday candles and celebrate another successful year under our belts -- 14 years to be exact! Back in 2001, when Greg Vass and Michael Kromm gave business-birth to SLM, they had no clue what was in store while collaborating at Vass's apartment (aka SolidLine's first location). Fourteen years later, they are managing nine staff members at an in-house studio downtown Chicago, and doing what they do best. It's been a fun 14 years, and we can't wait to see what's in store for the future!

"It's truly been an amazing experience to watch SolidLine grow," states SLM Executive Producer, Greg Vass. "Anyone who knows us knows that we work hard to put out great content for our clients, and we all love what we do. SolidLine has grown from an idea between two friends into a prominent production company in Chicago. Michael Kromm and I couldn't be more proud."

Our Summer Production Intern, Greg Cormier, interviewed the staff about what 14 years means to them. Check it out below!

SLM Produces Action Packed Video In Indy

This summer, SolidLine partnered with our awesome client, The Association for Healthcare Resource & Materials Management (AHRMM), to produce a conference opener video for their 53rd annual exhibit. Knowing the conference was taking place in Indianapolis, SLM ran with the race-car concept which included a custom 3d animated AHRMM race car, race track, and plenty of obstacles along the way. Shown to over 2,000 healthcare supply chain professionals, our video successfully kicked off the conference and highlighted the many benefits of being an AHRMM member. Oh, and did we mention this video was a blast to produce?!

"The Art Department couldn't wait to start this project!" exclaims SLM Art Director, Mike Petrik. "The video includes 3d animation and lots of creativity--both of which help make this piece so engaging. SolidLine excels at producing fun videos like these that effectively communicate our client's messages."

Take a look at the video below, and be prepared to put your pedal to the metal!

SolidLine Adds New MoVI Camera Support

SLM recently invested in a new camera support system called the MoVI M15, and we've had a lot of fun playing with it on our shoots this month. The MoVI serves as a camera stabilizer for smooth-moving, handheld shots. There are multiple features to the MoVI for single or dual operators, and it certainly adds a lot of production value to our videos. Check out a video below that we produced which highlights the MoVI and all of its awesome capabilities. It also showcases SLM Editor, John Courchane, and his serious need for anger management. Just kidding, John, we know you just really needed your coffee fix that morning!
