What's your favorite kind of ice cream and why?
Adam Marzec, Motion Graphics Artist
I like strawberry, because strawberry ice cream is brimming with juicy, quality picked strawberry chunks. Every sunny spoonful reminds you of a happy summer day. Great for after school milkshakes.
Mike Petrik, Art Director
Rocky Road is heaven on earth! Deliciously gooey marshmallow swirled through rich chocolate frozen dairy dessert with real, chocolatey-covered almonds. This is the fastest road to fun!
Marcus Leschock, Writer
Blueberry Waffle Cone - in a waffle cone! Because it has blueberries and waffle cone pieces and it's in a waffle cone and OMG!
Kevin Wright, Producer
I like mint chocolate chip because the coolness of the mint creates an intense rush in your mouth with the cold temperature, only to be broken by bits of chocolaty flavor explosions.
John Courchane, Editor
Gotta go with Reece's Peanut Butter Cup ice cream. An irresistible combo of chocolate and peanut butter: REESE'S® Peanut Butter Cups and a fudge swirl blasted through Breyers® peanut butter light ice cream.
Ed Boe, Director of Photography
Pear and Bleu Cheese...is a flavor I've never had, but sounds like it would be my favorite.
Re'Nesha Donson, Production Intern
Butter pecan. Pecans are one of my favorites. This ice cream is just simply the best!
Greg Cormier, Production Intern
Cookies and cream. It combines two amazing things, Oreos and vanilla ice cream, which can never taste wrong together. When made as a blizzard, the heavens open up!
Allison Miller, Production Coordinator
Chocolate, because it's good.
Michael Kromm, Director of Post Production
Chocolate Shoppe Fat Elvis. Sweet banana ice cream all shook up with a salty peanut butter ripple and rich liquid chocolate chips.
Greg Vass, Executive Producer
When I was a kid it was always Chocolate Marshmallow. Nowadays my tastes have refined to a more Salted Caramel variety.

SolidLine Produces 17 Videos in 9 Countries
SolidLine recently had a fun challenge from one of our awesome clients which we gladly accepted: film interviews in 9 different countries and produce 17 videos from the footage! The videos were shown at an awards event and featured employees talking about the numerous accomplishments they had in 2014. SLM Producer, Kevin Wright, headed up the project and coordinated various crews in Germany, Malaysia, Pakistan, Columbia and more. Our Editors were put to the test with footage coming in from eleven different locations, but they stayed organized and knocked out the 17 videos like it was no big deal. The project was a great success for SolidLine, and the awards show went off flawlessly. Huge props to our awesome crew for the great work!
"Coordinating a project on this scale with the limited timeline we had was quite a challenge," says Producer Kevin Wright. "It's not possible to travel to each location, so we needed to find trustworthy crews in countries that none of us have ever been to! Not only that, but we also had to ensure the footage matched from country to country and the crews would provide the level of service that our clients expect from SolidLine Media. Most people can't just make a phone call and get a crew in Pakistan, Brazil, or Thailand, but SolidLine Media can!"

Giving Opportunity: SolidLine Heads to Albania to Host Media Camp
Two SolidLine crew members, along with six other media professionals, are traveling to Albania in August for a unique missions trip. The team will be hosting a week-long media camp to help train young Albanians about the art of storytelling and video production. We have developed a "Media Kit" that we will be taking along with us to leave behind with our student groups. Each of these 8 kits features an iPod Air, lapel microphone, tripod, and filming and editing software. The camp will include training on the art of storytelling, filming, editing, social sharing and blogging.
"I am excited about the opportunity to provide this education and technology to the youth we will be working with in Albania," states SLM Executive Producer, Greg Vass. "It is important to not only know how to use the video tools, but also how to tell a great story. We will focus on both."
The mission team is covering costs to get to Albania, but we need your help to make the camp happen. Your contributions will help provide the "Media Kits" that we'll be training on and leaving there. Please click the button below to learn more and help us out.
Thanks again for your prayers and support. Don't forget to share this campaign with others!

SLM Celebrates Winning Production Awards

The crew here takes pride in our award-winning work, and getting recognized for the high quality videos we produce for our clients is always very rewarding. Recently, SolidLine received awards from three reputable award organizations in the production industry. Our spoken word video "Please See Me" took home a Silver Telly, which is the highest award given by the Tellys. The promotional video we produced for U.S. Cellular, "OnLook Digital System Promo," earned an Award of Excellence from the Communicator Awards. And, last but certainly not least, our Patient Safety Summer Camp Documentary, "Father's Day" was honored with a Bronze Summit Creative Award from the Summit International Awards. Take a look at the three award-winning videos below. We couldn't be more proud of our crew's hard work. Please note we are currently accepting champagne donations for the crew's celebrations.
