The Crew Corner

If you could invent any type of candy, what would it be?

Adam Marzec, Motion Graphics Artist

$100 bill candy bars.

Mike Petrik, Art Director

Chocolate and coconut covered Crawfish flavored jelly beans I'd call them "Bayou Bug Beans."

Tracy Granzyk, Director of Sales, Healthcare

Completely calorie/guilt free Rum Raisin Dark Chocolate bars.

Kevin Wright, Producer

I'd like to invent candy based on the crew at SolidLine Media, but Nerds are already a candy. How about candied bacon!?

John Courchane, Editor
Tampa Bay Lightning candy. It would be really bitter, and it would only be sold in FL zip codes. Fancy dress required.

Ed Boe, Director of Photography

Candy with fancy cheese flavors like, Bleu Cheese, Goat Cheese or Limberger.

Re'Nesha Donson, Production Intern

Lemony & lime on the outside, and spicy on the inside. Uhmmm!

Greg Cormier, Production Intern

Candy flavored and edible silverware/dishes. So after a tasty meal, you can just eat more rather than do dishes.

Allison Miller, Production Coordinator
Strawberry covered chocolates. Think about it.

Michael Kromm, Director of Post Production

Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.

Greg Vass, Executive Producer

I would invent chocolate coins and wrap them in gold foil so it looks like old pirate treasure.

SolidLine Makes ProductionHUB's Pro100 List

We are super proud to announce that SolidLine recently made ProductionHUB's Pro100 List! ProductionHUB is an online, member-based portfolio and database for professional production companies and freelancers -- you can create a profile highlighting your skills, publish job postings, and access tons of great production resources. Companies seeking production services can also submit an online request on the site; the inquiry is then sent to companies that specialize in the services their project requires. Last year, we made ProductionHUB's first ever Pro100 List, so to find ourselves on the list a second time is an exciting accomplishment!

"Millions search our site for the best in production, and between the impressive profile showcasing their unique skill set and their solid work ethic, SolidLine Media is much more likely to be found, hired (and re-hired) than anyone else," says Katrina de Leon, Director of Marketing for ProductionHUB. "They keep their clients happy and in turn, make us look good--for these reasons and more, we welcome them to this year's ProductionHUB 100. Congratulations, SolidLine!"

SLM Produces Onsite Conference Video at the Cleveland Clinic Patient Experience Summit

In May, the SolidLine crew traveled to Cleveland to attend Cleveland Clinic's Patient Experience Summit, and we put our production abilities to the test! The conference, also known as the Empathy & Innovation Summit, is devoted to exploring the patient experience as a key differentiator essential to the future of healthcare delivery. SolidLine was there to promote Minute for Medicine and also to produce a conference wrap-up video that we filmed throughout the 4 day event and edited onsite. With over 2,000 attendees watching the wrap-up video, it's easy to say our time spent in Cleveland was a great success!

"Cleveland Clinic is one of the most well-respected healthcare entities in the country, and their focus on patient experience and empathy fits the mission of the content SolidLine Media has produced for healthcare partners since 2004," said Tracy Granzyk, Managing Director-Healthcare. "It was a pleasure to meet and talk with healthcare leaders who put the patient first, and are looking for new ways to communicate empathy--be it in person, through visual media or print. We truly appreciated the opportunity be a partner in their mission, as well as meet healthcare leaders who appreciate content that inspires a culture of safety and patient engagement, like Minute for Medicine."

Meet the SLM Interns: Re'Nesha D. & Greg C.

Summer is right around the corner, and with the change of seasons comes a new batch of production interns here at SolidLine Media. We're excited to announce that our SIUC Extern from March is back to hang out with us this summer -- Re'Nesha Donson is serving as our Post-Production Intern. Our Production Intern, Greg Cormier, was quickly thrown into the rigorous SLM shoot schedule and is already learning lots and getting plenty of hands-on training. We thought it would be cool for our wonderful interns to shoot a video and interview each other about who they are and what they're looking forward to this summer... Check it out by clicking the play button below!
