The Crew Corner

What's your favorite thing to barbecue?

Adam Marzec, Motion Graphics Artist

Fat steaks.

Mike Petrik, Art Director

Hot dogs.

Tracy Granzyk, Director of Sales, Healthcare

If I have to pick just 1 thing I'll go with Salmon!!

Kevin Wright, Producer

I've tried fresh and canned.  Honestly you can't tell the difference on the grill.  Canned pineapple with a bit of brown sugar or maple syrup drizzled on top is amazing.

John Courchane, Editor
Venison, preferably some that I shot myself.

Ed Boe, Director of Photography

I don't know about grilling it myself, but Applebee's rib tips... To. Die. For.

Re'Nesha Donson, Production Intern

Chicken.

Greg Cormier, Production Intern

I probably would have to say Italian Sausage!

Allison Miller, Production Coordinator
Unpaid bills. And cauliflower.

Michael Kromm, Director of Post Production

Steaks.

Greg Vass, Executive Producer

Fatter steaks than Kromm's steaks, but not as fat as Adam's steaks. Those are really fat steaks.

SolidLine Moves to Orlando for a Week with ASUG

It's that time of year again when we help our pals at ASUG with their Annual Conference content development and video production work, so back to Orlando we went! ASUG Annual Conference and SAP SAPPHIRE NOW attracted more than 17,000 attendees filling the entire Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. During the show, the SolidLine crew produced and live-streamed over 50 multi-camera ASUG News broadcasts to the ASUG website. In addition to that awesomeness, three keynote videos we produced prior to the conference debuted on three huge 180 foot Watchout screens. There's nothing like seeing an audience of over 10,000 people watch your hard work on video screens the size of Texas!

"SolidLine continuously impresses us with their high caliber production work and attention to detail," states ASUG's VP of Media + Communications, Tom Wailgum. "They set the bar high and even raise it every time we work together. We couldn't ask for a better production company to partner with on our projects."

SLM Attends 17th Annual NPSF Conference to Promote Minute for Medicine

Earlier this month, a couple SolidLiners disembarked on a journey to Austin, Texas to find great BBQ and attend the annual National Patient Safety Foundation conference. The conference, United in Safety, was the perfect place to promote Minute for Medicine, our new series of 52 one-minute patient safety videos. SolidLine Executive Producer, Greg Vass, and Managing Director, Healthcare, Tracy Granzyk, made lots of new friends and certainly got the Minute for Medicine word out to a bunch of interested healthcare folks. NPSF had nearly 1,000 attendees!

SolidLine's Managing Director, Healthcare, Tracy Granzyk, breaks it down for us: "NPSF is a great meeting to meet and mingle with like-minded colleagues looking to change the culture of safety in healthcare. We met many new friends, and connected with good friends already working diligently as change agents in this space. Our Minute for Medicine series continues to get outstanding feedback from those looking to educate, reinforce and introduce topics pertinent to forming and sustaining a culture of safety. We also had our fill of local cuisine--leaving our mark on Lamberts, a local bbq favorite in Austin!"

SLM Crew Interview: You Survived The Winter, Now What?

It's an exciting time for the crew (and literally everyone else in the Midwest) because we can finally announce that WINTER! IS! OVER! YAY!!!! Goodbye snow boots. Sooo long crazy Chiberia subzero temps. Mother Nature is back to being in a good mood and rockin' that sun like it's going out of style. The SolidLine crew no longer has to huddle in the Edit 3 Suite to thaw out the icicles forming from their noses, and it's a beautiful thing (just kidding - we run the heat at the office...sometimes). We caught up with each crew member to get some insight into how pumped they are for summer and the amazing weather that has only just begun. Click here to read their quick responses to our candid questions.
