WATCH: We Put It On Video - SolidLine's New Hit!

It's that time of year again folks! The SolidLine New Year card has officially been released and is causing quite the commotion around the world. Inspired by the classic beats of the 1980's, SLM crew came together to perform a custom-written song about who they are and what they do. You'll see big hair, leg warmers, leather and chains... and may even get the catchy tune stuck in your head!

"To have as much fun as possible while filming this video is what we're all about here at SolidLine. That's our philosophy," states Executive Producer Greg Vass. "Plus a little known fact is that the mustaches in the video are all real. Creepy for sure."

So, without further ado... Check out our rockin' music video and a behind the scenes look at the making of "We Put It On Video!"

Calling All Interns!

Over the past several years, SolidLine's internship program has become quite popular with students across the country. The three & a half month full-time program is a rigorous exposure into the production business and comes with great responsibility. SLM interns are on the front lines of production and not just sitting around making coffee for the rest of the crew. They travel the world for on-location shoots, assist with editing, and learn what it takes to produce a video from start to finish while running a successful business in the Chicago loop.

"Interns here have the opportunity to work in several areas," states former Intern Chris Tracz. "I got to see a pitch grow into a final cut. Being part of the entire production process has allowed me to better visualize my own work, making me a stronger storyteller."

SLM is currently seeking solid candidates for the Winter 2014 session. If you know someone who may be a good fit, please check out the SolidLine Intern Program PDF and our blog. Shoot us an email at [email protected] to set up an interview!

SLM Wins Summit Emerging Media Award

SolidLine proudly brought home another industry award, this time from the Summit International Awards (SIA). The Emerging Media Award evolve through a need to recognize and celebrate creativity, innovation and those pushing the bounds of creative excellence in all forms of emerging media. You don't need to have a big budget in order to execute a big idea, and that's what this award is all about.

Submissions for the award came from nine different countries and ranged from video productions to websites, apps, and interactive media. Judging was based on innovation, information, and method to determine the effectiveness of the communication tools and their ability to engage consumers quickly. SolidLine won the Leader Award from SIA for their work on the Orientation Video for The National Society of Leadership and Success. Check it out below!
