Earlier this month, we released the beta version of BTR2SQL for PostgreSQL, which allows users of Btrieve/Pervasive transaction engines to use a PostgreSQL database without requiring source level changes. With this product, developers can leverage existing applications with a PostgreSQL back-end immediately.
Mertech's ISDBC driver uses PostgreSQL's native API for communicating and accessing the PostgreSQL database. This provides the fastest access to PostgreSQL without being dependent on installing and configuring an ODBC driver. The product is available for immediate download.
