With Flex2SQL v12, keeping your Mertech drivers in sync with VDF is much easier!

Last month, Mertech released Flex2SQL v12. Among the many new features, the new Support Utility helps users to more effectively manage driver deployment across various versions of VDF.  What's more, this new, simpler installer has no dependency on VDF already being installed. The Support Utility is also available from the Windows Start Menu for later use, allowing you to update the drivers and help files in any of your VDF runtime folders, which is especially useful if a version of VDF is installed after Flex2SQL is already in place.

The State of Mobile Development

Teach. Share. Learn.

campfireThank you to everyone who participated in our first Mertech Campfire!

The next Campfire topic is mobile development, and will be held on December 13 at 3 PM EST. The discussion will focus on what are the various mobile development tools, current trends in mobile development, pros and cons of HTML5 vs native apps, and other topics.

The goal of the campfire is to provide a forum where we can set aside some time on a monthly basis in an informal setting and learn about technologies we often do not have time to work with. We have taken the lead in organizing this forum so we could share with each other personal experiences, or learn from someone who has already worked in the subject area. We encourage attendees to participate by raising questions, giving opinions or sharing their experiences and also suggest topics they would like to see covered in the Campfire.
