Dear Members:
This was my first NRA show in the last several years; I must say it was really a great one. I started coming to the NRA show when I was only 17 years old with my dad, Thomas Taunton, who was a foodservice equipment distributor in South America. I remember the first time I was there, seeing the tall buildings, the huge number of people, the nice looking women in the exhibition booths, the new machines, technologies, food, etc. What I always regretted was not taking the opportunity out of my always busy schedule to sight-see the beautiful city...... until now.
This time, for the first time ever, I invited my 18 year old son, Cristobal, to join me in his first ever business trip so he can see what his dad does for a living and to see if he would like to be part of our business in the future. Well, he loved it and we took a day off together and went to visit the windy city. I will definitely bring more of my family members with me in the future, and I will be sure to go sightseeing again.....
