IPHI & DCPCA Lead Formation of Prevention & Medicaid Task Force

The DC Primary Care Association (DCPCA) and IPHI are leading the formation of the Prevention and Medicaid Financing Task Force to help lay groundwork to facilitate future Medicaid support of preventive health services delivered by non-licensed providers in the District of Columbia. Through this Task Force, community stakeholders will develop recommendations on community health worker core competencies, training requirements, and credentialing, as well as recommendations for a potential Medicaid Plan Amendment to test financing of preventive health services provided by a broader range of professionals.
