Acts of the Apostles - Yesterday and Today
We look forward to seeing you this Sunday as we continue our series Acts of the Apostles: Yesterday and Today  with Spreading the Good News, and a reading from Acts 18:1-11, with a sermon from Pastor Doug Cox. 

Next Week, we begin our series with The Body of Christ with United in Baptism, and readings from
1 Corinthians 1:10-18.

Monroe Cultural Family Night at Zion

Tickets are $5 a person.

Synod Assembly
The Northern Colorado Conference of the Rocky Mountain Synod is hosting the synod assembly this year, and since it is right in our own backyard all are invited to participate in any of the following events.

Join us for worship led by Our Saviour's Fort Collins and the installation of Pastor Paul Judson, recently called to CSU Campus Ministry in Fort Collins  

FIND YOUR PURPOSE: Wondering about college? Ever considered seminary? Searching for your calling and purpose? Join faculty, staff and alumni from California Lutheran University and Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary at the Rocky Mountain Synod Assembly on Friday, April 29 from 4-7pm at the Embassy Suites in Loveland, CO for a free interactive workshop. Dinner (and free school swag!) included. Students, parents, anyone considering lay or ordained ministry, and anyone curious about Lutheran higher education are especially welcome. 
RSVP Required: let one of the pastors know, and we will make the reservation for you.

If you have spring clean-up to do in the yard, garage cleaning to tackle, windows to wash, or any other manual labor to accomplish, the middle and high school students at Zion would like to help! On Saturday, May 14st, the youth are auctioning off their time and talents to help you get some work done. Please pick up a Rent-A-Youth Work Order form and describe the task(s) you need done.
 
The money earned through this fundraiser will be used for the Group Mission Work Camp in Lame Deer, Montana this summer as well as other middle and high school youth activities.

We will continue to have Traditional Worship on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays and Contemporary Worship on the 2nd and 4th Sundays for Indoor Worship.
This 15 minute time change from previous summers will allow for education opportunities and the musicians more time to prepare for Indoor Worship.

Diana Linden, who grew up at Zion and is the daughter of Jim and Susan Linden, has received a call as pastor of Peace Lutheran Church in El Paso, Texas. Zion has been supportive of Diana in many ways throughout her discernment process, and she would like to invite you to celebrate by attending her ordination on Saturday, May 21st at 11 a.m. at St. Paul in Denver (1600 Grant St.). We congratulate Diana in this new stage of her life and ministry, and pray God's blessings for her and for the church.  Thanks be to God!
