3rd Annual MBCA Toronto Section Fall Wine Tour

 Mark your calendars and please join us for the 3rd Annual Fall Wine Tour scheduled for the weekend of October 25-26, 2013 in Niagara. 

This year's tour will be a little different from the previous two years. Saturday morning we depart from either Niagara-on-the-Lake or Jordan Village (two pick up locations) to be taken on a personal guided tour by Crush Tours of Niagara.  We start by visiting the newly opened Dillons Distillery, producing hand crafted small lots of vodka, gin, white rye and bitters.  Next up is Rosewood Winery, the only meadery in Niagara, followed by several smaller wineries producing small lot hand crafted wines.  A local three course wine country lunch is also planned at the Good Earth Winery.  The tour would see us back in Jordan Village or Niagara-on-the-Lake at around 5:00 p.m.

  

Cost will be $115/person + tax and includes all transportation, guide, lunch, tasting fees and keepsake wine and food pairing information.  We ask that you call Crush Niagara directly at 1-866-408-9463 to book a spot so they may determine the correct size vehicle to transport our group.  To ensure a spot please book by September 20, 2013 and mention you are with the Mercedes-Benz Club tour.

  

  

To shake off the effects of all that wine from Saturday we have a 2.5 - 3.0 hour scenic drive (in your own cars this time) planned that will see us wind our way along the Niagara River down to Lake Erie and then slowly working our way back into wine country for a fabulous lunch at Scarsellones at Ridgepoint Wines, a small estate winery in Vineland.  Please let us know if you plan to attend the Sunday drive and lunch by September 27 so we can provide the winery with a seat count.

An a-la-carte sumptuous three course dinner has also been planned Saturday evening at the Cannery restaurant, adjacent to the Pillar and Post Inn.   Cost would be $58 / person + gratuity & tax.
