We hope the third week of classes have been successful for you! As you settle into a routine for the semester, we encourage you to take advantage of all the resources that Tulane has to offer. We hope that this Navigator E-Newsletter can highlight some important and fun events happening on campus.

FALL WELCOME SURVEY  
We hope you took part in and enjoyed the many events and activities throughout our 2016 Fall Welcome!  If you haven't already done so, please take this SURVEY and help us make next year's programs even better.  We appreciate your feedback.  You'll also have a chance to win a $50 Bookstore gift card!  
SHIFTING THE PARADIGM
Join us Thursday, September 22 from 7-9pm in Dixon Hall for a shared intellectual experience and campus wide dialogue on the impact of sexual violence on our community.  Shifting the Paradigm will feature author Kate Harding as she shares her in-depth research about our culture's relationship to sexual violence, fascinating data points related to false reports, and ideas and suggestions for how we, as Tulane, can take sexual violence much more seriously without compromising the rights of the accused. President Fitts will share the stage to offer his views on this campus-wide issue.
CAPS FIRST YEAR SUPPORT GROUP
Looking for some support? CAPS provides many support groups including the Freshman Transition Group for first year students. This group provides a safe space to discuss social concerns, homesickness, academic difficulties, etc. Check out this group and others that CAPS provides on their website HERE.
STAY WELL
Take some time for yourself and join Campus Health for these great events next week!  

Massage Monday: September 19, 2-4pm, The Well. 
Enjoy the Room to Breathe with snacks, mindfulness, and health resources while you wait for your FREE five minute massage.

Mindful Practice: September 20, 4-4:30pm, LBC 204. Drop in for 30 minutes of mindfulness led by a trained facilitator.  Mindfulness has been proven to enhance a sense of well-being, increase concentration and focus, and improve our ability to manage anxiety and stress.

Wellness Wednesday: September 21,10:30am-12:30pm, LBC Pocket Park. Stop by to learn services and resources available to students surrounding the theme of gender-based violence prevention and shifting the paradigm in our community.  
TULANE AFTER DARK (TAD)
Check out the late-night programming this week brought to you by the Division of Student Affairs! The Latinx Heratige Month Kick-Off today, September 15 at 10 PM in City Diner. Also, come out to some trivia with SRSS at 10 PM in the Sharp Lobby. For furture events and more information, check out your ORGSYNC calendar!
FOOTBALL TICKETS
Tulane students receive complimentary admission to all regular season home games, so don't forget to pick up your tickets! You can pick up your tickets at the Athletics Ticket Office located on the ground floor of the James W. Wilson, Jr. Athletics Center, and find more information HERE. Come out this Saturday, September 17 at 6:00pm and watch the Green Wave take on Navy.  Roll Wave!
