EXPLORE exciting opportunities!
For students interested in a deeper exploration of the Crescent City and their new experiences at Tulane, we offer five different multi-day programs that run the week leading into Move-In Day. Participants will follow a certain topic or team in activities led by Tulane staff members and upperclass students! Here's a brief description of these popular programs:
  • Greenie Camp: Get to know Tulane by participating in a spirit camp and diving into the history and traditions of the Green Wave. You'll meet amazing alumni in the city, connect with student leaders, and learn all about Tulane through fun activities. Are you ready to rule the school?!
  • IGNITE:So you think you want to change the world? Engage your passions by spending a week making new friends who share your interest for building community and making a difference. You'll learn how to create positive social change as a college student and find out what it takes to be a leader on Tulane's campus, around the city, and all over the world.
  • ENGAGE NOLA: Incoming students of all backgrounds will get to explore New Orleans neighborhoods, network with Jewish business owners and community leaders, and learn about some of the wide-ranging activities Tulane Hillel offers during the year (yoga, krav maga, and challah baking just to name a few!). Make Tulane Hillel a home away from home!
  • NOLA Experience: Through the eight different NOLA Experience tracks, students will go on incredible adventures around the city that are tailored to their specific track themes. From art and music to food and health, there's an option for everyone! 'Experience' New Orleans in a way like no other.
  • Summer Journalism Experience: Interested in journalism? Even if you've never tried your hand at it before, the SJE offers the opportunity to help create the fall semester's first edition of the Tulane Hullabaloo! You'll hear from local and national journalism professionals and work closely with a staff editor. Find out what makes one of the oldest and most visible organizations on campus so special!

Go here to learn more about the programs we're offering for first-year students this year! A $475-$650 program fee covers most meals, activities, and transportation. University departments provide additional support for early housing and other program expenses.
