Students Help Present Report to Executive Committee

The Atlantic Union Conference Office of Education presented a report to the union's executive committee at its regular quarterly meeting on September 16.

Astrid Thomassian, education director, invited students and teachers from several classes at South Lancaster Academy and Greater Boston Academy to assist in presenting various components of this year's curriculum.

The children sang songs, conducted a science demonstration, and presented a brief Bible lesson to illustrate an activity from their textbook that demonstrated exposure to Christ and commitment to following Him.

There are 61 schools and one college operating in the Atlantic Union Conference.

Four Steps to a Healthier Work Day
Neck, back and wrist pain can often be the result of working at a desk for long hours, and left unchecked, long-term damage is possible. Adventist Risk Management suggests these four preventative steps to make your work day healthier: (1) Perform an ergonomic checkup (see link for details); (2) Take many mini-breaks; (3) Take your breaks outside; and (4) Keep a water bottle at your desk.
