The Northern New England Conference held its fifth quadrennial constituency session (37th regular session) on Sunday, October 26, at Pine Tree Academy in Freeport, Maine. Conference president Bob Cundiff presented the devotion. He focused on unity, citing doctrine 14 of the fundamental beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church ("Unity in the Body of Christ") and he also referenced Acts 2.

The delegates voted to reelect the three administrators to serve the conference for the next quadrennium: Robert (Bob) Cundiff, president; Theodore (Ted) Huskins, executive secretary; and Daniel Battin, treasurer. Scott Christiansen was reelected to serve as trust services/communication director, and Trevor Schlisner was elected to serve as superintendent of schools succeeding Trudy Wright, who retired after many years of service. All other positions were referred to the executive committee.

Representatives from other organizations were present and participated in various aspects of the meeting: Donald G. King, Atlantic Union Conference president; Carlyle Simmons, Atlantic Union Conference executive secretary; Leon Thomassian, Atlantic Union Conference treasurer; Todd McFarland, from the Office of General Council; Kyoshin Ahn, North American Division associate secretary; and Allan Willmott and Todd Mayer from the General Conference Auditing Service (GCAS).

Harry Sabnani, who served the conference as youth ministries director for many years and is retiring, was recognized for his commitment and service over the years.

During the session, the delegates voted the conference's new executive committee and the constitution and bylaws committee. They received reports from the president, secretary, and treasurer and voted several changes to the conference's constitution and bylaws.

The Atlantic Union Conference administrators and staff pray for God's guidance for the Northern New England Conference administrators, departmental directors, and the various committees as they begin their work for the new quadrennium. The conference serves about 5,200 members who worship in 59 churches and five companies, 14 schools (this number includes two academies and one junior academy), several community service centers, and other ministries in the conference's territory.
