Here's a reminder about the upcoming public hearing on DEP's rulemaking for Chapter 78 regulations. The hearing will take place this Monday, May 4th from 6-9 pm at the Penn College Klump Academic Center on W. 4th Street in Williamsport. Please show up and show your support for more stringent regulations of the gas industry. We need to show DEP how important this is to us so they don't back down at the behest of the gas industry.

Those who wish to present testimony during the hearing are asked to register at least 24 hours in advance by contacting the DEP Policy Office at 717-783-8727. Individuals will be called to testify in the order they registered. If time permits at the hearing, those who did not register in advance will be given the opportunity to testify.

Remember, it is up to us, the good citizens of PA, to demand protection. Regardless of your position on unconventional drilling, tighter rules & regulations can offer health and safety benefits that are not currently in place.

Please show up and speak out for Pennsylvania.

Sincerely,

RDA
