Wednesday March 13, 7- 8pm, at the Williamsport Country Club RDA is sponsoring a presentation by financial expert Deborah Rogers.

Ms. Rogers has an extensive background in finance. She began her career working in investment banking in London for the firm of Johnson Fry Ltd. From 1987 to 1999, she managed personal client investments for Prudential Bache, Merrill Lynch and Smith Barney. In 2008 she was appointed to a three-year term on the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas's Advisory Council where she worked closely with then Dallas Fed Chairman James T. Hackett, CEO of Anadarko Petroleum Corporation. The council's purpose is to meet to discuss economic and business conditions in the 11th Federal Reserve District, which includes oil and gas producing giants Texas, northern Louisiana, and southern New Mexico.

Ms. Rogers was recently appointed to the U.S. Department of Interior's advisory committee on the U.S. Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (USEITI).
