The last day to request a public hearing for the Moxie natural gas-fired power plant to be built in Lycoming County is Monday, October 29, 2012.

 

Save for a few dozen permanent positions, most of the jobs created by the plant's construction will be temporary.

 

Electricity generated by the plant will be sold to other states. Meanwhile, we're the ones stuck breathing 2.7 million tons of GHG emissions each year.
