Women's Equality Day is today - August 26th. 

94th Anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment giving women the right to VOTE.

This video is a Lady Gaga parody about the history of women fighting for the right to vote. For those who do not know the history, women were jailed for picketing outside of the White House. They were force fed when they held hunger strikes to protest their incarceration. Women had organized, marched and protested for 72 years and on Aug 26, 1920, the 19th amendment was finally ratified giving women the right to vote.
