Description of Susan Campbell: Susan Campbell is the award-winning author of "Dating Jesus," and the upcoming biography, "Tempest-Tossed: The Spirit of Isabella Beecher Hooker." For more than a quarter-century, she was a columnist at the Hartford Courant, where her work was recognized by the National Women's Political Caucus, New England Associated Press News Executives, the Society for Professional Journalists, the American Association of Sunday and Feature Editors, the National Society of Newspaper Columnists, and the Sunday Magazine Editors Association. Presently she is co-author of the blog www.Hot-Dogma.com and working at the Partnership for Strong Communities, a non-profit based in Hartford that is dedicated to ending homelessness in Connecticut

NFDW Convention
The National Federation of Democratic Women will be hosting their annual meeting in Charleston, WV on June 12-16th 2013." NFDW represents Democratic women from all over the nation. As our numbers grow, so does our ability to effect important change. This is an exciting time for women in politics."
