CFDW February Meeting on Saturday Feb 4th
at 12 noon
Just a reminder that our next meeting is on Feb 4th at the Gelston House in East Haddam. Our guest speaker is Lori Pelletier of the CT AFL-CIO. She will present the "State of the Unions". This is an important subject for the upcoming elections!
Our agenda will include
1. discussion and possible action on Bylaws change to allow for at large membership
2. nominations for recipients of the NFDW awards

 SLDW presents " The War on Women's Healthcare" with special guest speaker Judy Tabar, President and CEO of Planned Parenthood of Southern New England. Join fellow Democratic women on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 7pm at the Guilford Free Library, 67 Park Street in Guilford, CT. Free to the Public.
The SLDW joins with Democracy for CT to co-host a Democracy for America Campaign Academy, the very first to be held in Connecticut! The two-day event will be held on Saturday and Sunday, April 28 and 29 at Wesleyan University in Middletown.
This two-day professional level training program covers the science of running and supporting a winning campaign. Tuition is $70 per person, including two lunches and a networking session. There is a 50% discount for students and those with limited income.
