The MicroWave Challenge goes to Winston Salem, NC.
The American Tackle Company is well noted worldwide for exhibiting at fishing shows at a level that no other company can duplicate. Dedication and participation at each event is what AT does best and the International Custom Rod Building Exposition was no exception.
ICBRE is the largest rod building event in the world which is why it remains on AT's event schedule year after year. It provides the perfect opportunity to get product in the hands of custom rod makers and component distributors which are a huge market segment of AT's business. But more than anything, American Tackle will never miss an opportunity like this to visit with our rod building friends.
AT President Joe Meehan, Mick Hinton and Pro Staffers; Wes Motsinger, Don Morse, Mark Newcomb (Australia) and Paul Rogers all helped answer questions and conduct the MicroWave Challenges to over 100 eager participants.

The MicroWave system dominated the discussions as well as the Bushido line of blanks and the most successful seats in AT history, the AERO ergonomic spinning seat. This event is also the ideal venue to introduce new rod components and gain immediate product feedback from rod building enthusiasts. We had a chance to discuss current and new projects as well as new products on the horizon that promise to keep this momentum AT has going well into the future. There's never been more excitement about the opportunities that lay ahead.
The American Tackle Company conducted the MicroWave Challenge at the Bass Pro Shops Orlando, one of the premier sporting good retailers in the USA and the flagship store for all 12 locations in Florida.
During the Bass Pro Shops' Spring Classic event, American Tackle had the opportunity to give the MicroWave Challenge to hundreds of participants on behalf of Seeker Fishing Rods. Their Mike Hakala, signature series "Aqua Dream" MicroWave rods are now available throughout Florida's prolific inshore saltwater and freshwater bass markets and currently the only MicroWave guide rod featured through Bass Pro Shops.
AT staffers; Darrin Heim, Ben Stein & Alex Heim presented the product benefits inside the store as well as outside with hands-on casting demonstrations on the BPS front lawn.
