The Celebration
Continues!!!

This week American Tackle is giving away the first ever production rod utilizing the Microwave Line Control System, a T. Allen Wave Series.

From T. Allen Rods Inc Website

"The Wave Series is the first production line of spinning rods in the world featuring "The Bass Professor" Doug Hannon's "Microwave Guide Line Control System." The MicroWaves maintains and redirects energy from the line as it coils off the spool, allowing friction to virtually disappear. When mounted on a 100% carbon fiber rod blank to T. Allen Rods' custom specifications, the Wave Series becomes the ultimate rod advantage for any angler; a super-lightweight, exquisitely-balanced, durable, versatile rod that provides longer, more accurate casts and decreases muscle exhaustion. It will change the way you fish...forever."

Headquartered in Jacksonville, FL, T. Allen Rods Inc. builds high-quality, high-value fishing rods for anglers of diverse skill and need sets. All T. Allen Rods are assembled to the same exacting specifications that Capt. Terry Allen Sturgeon has employed throughout his entire custom rod building career.

Last week American Tackle began the Countdown to ICAST Celebration.  During this countdown, American Tackle will be giving away all sorts of prizes from rod building equipment to finished production rods through our facebook page.  Last week ATC gave away the very popular APW- Power Wrapper.

But that was only the beginning!

See the "Wave Series" MicroWave rods introduced by T. Allen Rods in booth #1614. Wave Series rods will also be on display in AT's booth and introduced during the MicroWave Challenge.

Remember to stop by the American Tackle booth to take the famous MicroWave Challenge conducted during all show hours of ICAST 2013. The Challenge allows hands-on comparisons between MWG and standard guide rods where you can be the judge and experience the MicroWave Line Control System.

Meet American Tackle
Pro Staff Member
Wes Motsinger

Wes Motsinger is the owner of Mots' Custom Rods and Reels from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Wes began fishing at the age of 5 and has not looked back.  He has fished in many tournaments across North Carolina over the years and placed in many of them.

Wes began building his own rods because he was not able to find a good quality store bought rod anymore. He also started a reel repair shop and building reels for distance casting.  When Wes is not building rods and reels, you can find him on the coast of North Carolina chasing inshore Red Drum and Speckled Trout and surf fishing from Cape Hatteras. Wes stated, "I value quality.  I build every rod as if it is my own.  I am so glad to be a part of the American Tackle Team."

Wes has traveled to bass tournaments and tackle shops throughout N.C. and given many Microwave Challenges to many anglers.  His passion and enthusiasm for rod building is unmatched and we are grateful to have him on the team.

Welcome Aboard Wes!  American Tackle is proud to have Wes on the team and excited about his commitment and continued support for ATC and the MicroWave Challenge!
