American Tackle in Sweden

American Tackle European Sales Manager, Dan Paluch, joined European rod manufacturers at this years Swedish outdoor and fishing show,Sportfiskemässan 2013.  Dan helped manufacturers display and market their products utilizing American Tackle's high quality components to consumers.  The MicroWave Challenge made its appearance and the response was remarkable.  Just like the Challenges before it, casters were blown away by the incredible results by using the MicroWave system.

Guideline Spinning Rods

Although Guideline is recognized as a fly-fishing company producing high end fly rods, they also specialize in Sea Trout fishing on the west coast of Sweden. This year they've chosen to upgrade their already popular series with American Tackle's Titan guides utilizing high grade solid titanium alloy frames.

Guideline Rods featuring the Titan Ring Lock Titanium guides

According to Leif Stavmo, Product Manager for Guideline, they are pleased with the upgrade and will be converting some of the stripper guides on a few of their fly rods as well.

The Titan titanium guides feature the exclusive Ring Lock frame design.  This design all but eliminates ring loss and improves the structural integrity of the guide frame. The titanium material reduces weight and eliminates corrosion while adding guide flexibility critical to rod performance and durability.

Adding to Guideline's spinning rod line up will be their MicroWave guide edition lure rods. Look for their introduction coming soon.

CWC

"Catch With Care"

CWC are one of the first in Europe to use American Tackle components on a range of manufactured rods. Their "Bluewater" series utilizing high end AT components are focused on catching big Halibut and Cod in Norway. Other rod series such as the "ROOTS" and "RUEGEN" were specifically designed for extreme Pike fishing, which they launched at this years' Sport Fishing show in Jönköping, Sweden.

The next series in development for CWC will be built using the "MicroWave Line Control System", both featuring the spinning as well as the new casting versions. They will launch their new series at this year's EFTTEX in Vienna and can be viewed in stand #K21.

The display was set up with a Norway Halibut and Cod fishing theme. The 7'6" Busihdo Super Nano Composite popping blanks have become quite popular among both the Swedes as well as the Norwegians. The consumer could choose between the 125, 200 or a 350 gram blank and later fit it with matching aluminum reel seat and gimbal with the choice between Chrome, Black Chrome or solid Titanium Virtus Ring Lock Guides.

DAN PALUCH

American Tackle's European

Sales Manager

Throughout the show, Dan Paluch was present in CWC, Guideline and HS Import's booths answering any questions consumers or staff might have concerning the guides and/or future developments.

Dan also conducted the MicroWave Challenge to all interested. Amongst the curious crowd of anglers were several staff members from prominent fishing rod brands who hadn't had a chance to be introduced to the MicroWave system yet. As usual, every high profile participant and all of the consumers lucky enough to take the challenge agreed that it was the most innovative guide system they had ever experienced.
