Message from the Chair

Happy New Year!

I'm pleased to announce that our first town hall meeting of 2015 is posted below and Senator Kefalas and Representative Ginal will welcome Representative-Elect Jeni Arndt to help serve the constituents of Larimer County and the state of Colorado for the next two years.

Senator Kefalas will serve as the ranking member of the Senate Local Government Committee in the session that starts January 7th. Representative Ginal will serve as Vice Chair of the House Health, Insurance & Environment Committee and will also serve as a member of the Agriculture, Livestock & Natural Resources and the Public Health & Human Service Committee. Representative Elect Arndt will serve on the House Agriculture, Livestock & Natural Resources, Business Affairs & Labor and Local Government Committees for the next two years.

I know I speak for most of Larimer County and the state of Colorado when I write that we are extremely grateful for all the hard work and dedication displayed by our term limited Representative of Colorado House District 53, Randy Fischer. Thank you for everything, Representative Fischer.

--William Russell

"I trust in Jeni to succeed me in the Statehouse and to continue to advance the important legislative work that former west Fort Collins legislators and I have done to improve people's lives and protect our environment."

--Representative Randy Fischer

Saturday, January 10

Rep. Ginal, Rep. Arndt and Sen. Kefalas to host town hall in Fort Collins

A new year means a new legislative session, and we want to hear from you. Please join Senator John Kefalas, Representative Joann Ginal and Representative Jeni Arndt at their first town hall meeting of the new year.

Time and time again, we've seen that the best way to move our state forward and make sure that our economy is working for the middle class is for citizens and their elected officials to regularly work together and trade ideas.

Citizens are encouraged to attend this next town hall and engage in a robust dialogue, ask questions, and share ideas on how to move Colorado forward. All town hall meetings are free, nonpartisan, and open to the public. We hope to see you there!

Date & Time: Saturday, January 10, 10:00 am - Noon
