Message from the Chair

The canvass season is here and your LCD team is expanding our operation every day. The best thing you can do to help win this mid-term election is to donate three hours next week to our local candidates, Kathy Gilliland for Larimer County Commissioner, Representative Joann Ginal for House District 52, Jeni Arndt for House District 53, and coordinating campaign working for Senator Udall and Representative Jared Polis. We can help you connect with the service of your choice if you call the office at 970-689-6391. If you can't contribute by knocking on a voter's door, you can help in many ways. One of those ways to help would be to call Merete at 970-493-3858 and sign up for providing food for our canvassers. Everybody is capable of a meaningful contribution and we're here to help you find yours. It's a mid-term election, and everybody needs to get their blue on. Call me.

Please take a look at the events listed below and make a point to showing up for your great Larimer County Democratic candidates when you can fit it in. We have events all across the county and you can make a difference by attending. I'm going to catch a great craft beer tonight at Pateros Creek with my Colorado State Representative Joann Ginal on my way home from work, and I'm going to support Kathy Gilliland on Sunday. (Thank you, David Hallet). Pick a time to support your candidates and the work that they do for your family.
Stay tuned for another Larimer County event that your Congressman, Jared Polis, is throwing to help Andrew Romanoff in his plans to pick up a Democratic congressional seat in Colorado.

"I want to know why Walker Stapleton won't do more for retirement security. I want to know why he's threatening to dismantle a retirement system for half a million Coloradans, why he thinks it's ok to skip important meetings related to the office and how he thinks he can be an effective Treasurer while still working at his family's financial real estate business."
