Message from the Chair

Please find time this week for two special efforts expanding Larimer's contributions to the outcome this November. On Wednesday, Suzanne and David Trask are hosting an organizing meeting designed to get our volunteers engaged with our candidates and their campaigns. On Friday, Linda and Coby Hughey are hosting a fundraising event designed to help Andrew Romanoff and Congressional Democrats pick up a Republican seat in CD6. See the details below and stop by this week. Your contribution of time and treasure are going to make the difference this mid-term.

We are going to take advantage of the City of Fort Collins decision to promote political independence on our nation's birthday, Independence Day. That's right, we are going to join the parade. Please show up and support your democracy, your candidates and your right to celebrate independence on this wonderful day. More details to come.

--William Russell

"I learned the meaning of equality from an early age, thanks to my twin sister and our mother, a single working parent for many years. Full equality includes the right to choose and the right to equal pay for equal work."

--Andrew Romanoff

There are no contested Democratic races in the Primary Election. Loveland is holding a Special Election to consider a Citizen Initiated Petition enacting a two year moratorium on hydraulic fracturing.

Every registered Democrat in Larimer County has been mailed a Democratic Primary Election ballot.

Registered voters in Loveland have been mailed two ballots: one for the Primary Election and one for the Special Municipal Election.

The County Clerk and Recorder is responsible for administering the Primary Election. The Loveland City Clerk is responsible for administering Loveland's Special Municipal Election.

Your ballots must be received by the correct Clerk by 7:00 pm on Tuesday, June 24.

Primary Election ballots must be received by the County Clerk. The county is using a white envelope for returning ballots.
