Message from the Chair

It's Tuesday and that means it's time to help Representative Joann Ginal kick off her re-election campaign at Odell's brewery. Our representative from house district 52 has been working hard for us during the legislative session and now it's time for us to return the favor by getting out and contacting some voters. But let's start with a fine Fort Collins microbrew. See the details below and see you today at 7.

I want to thank Kristin Stephens, Martha Coleman, Patsy Morris, Anne Wilseck and Iris Hentze for their work organizing that nice reception for Maggie Fox and Senator Udall last Saturday. We got to meet many of our organizers and the Senator said he's fired up and ready to go. Stay tuned for the grand opening of our local office.

You should have received your primary ballot by now. We're encouraging everybody to vote this ballot, even though there are no contested races. The message is always: vote every ballot, vote the whole ballot, and return that ballot as quickly as possible. If you live in Loveland, please return your Loveland ballot to the City of Loveland and your primary ballot to the Larimer County Clerk. Do not put them in the same envelope. Thanks for voting.

--William Russell

There are no contested Democratic races in the Primary Election. Loveland is holding a Special Election to consider a Citizen Initiated Petition enacting a two year moratorium on hydraulic fracturing.

Every registered Democrat in Larimer County has been mailed a Democratic Primary Election ballot.

Registered voters in Loveland have been mailed two ballots: one for the Primary Election and one for the Special Municipal Election.

The County Clerk and Recorder is responsible for administering the Primary Election. The Loveland City Clerk is responsible for administering Loveland's Special Municipal Election.

Your ballots must be received by the correct Clerk by 7:00 pm on Tuesday, June 24.

Primary Election ballots must be received by the County Clerk. The county is using a white envelope for returning ballots.

Loveland Special Election ballots must be received by the Loveland City Clerk. Loveland is using a blue envelope for returning ballots.

You can mail your ballots. Use the correct postage!
