Message from the Chair

I attended Congressman Polis' Birthday celebration last night and visited with the whole family. I'm happy to report that everybody looked happy and healthy, especially the kid and the dog. I'm also happy to report that Jared delivered a passionate speech that warmed the crowd. I loved hearing that he still has a passion for serving in the body that voted 52 times to repeal your health care. That's gotta be hard.

We had a great turnout for our recent meeting on the new election laws. I would like to suggest that the best way to ensure voting rights is to help the campaign of your Democratic candidate for Secretary of State, Joe Neguse. I know that his campaign is always looking for a chance to visit Larimer County and if you would to host a house party, particularly the last weekend of this month, you can call me, or write Elisabeth (mabus@joeneguseforcolorado.com).

Don't forget to check your email for updates on our May outreach program. We're getting a great response and you'll want to try this in your neighborhood.

--William Russell

"We are a diverse country, but we are one country. And we are at our best when we come together as Americans, not despite our differences, but in celebration of them."

--U.S. Rep. Jared Polis
