Message from the Chair

Please join Representative Joann Ginal, Jeni Arndt and Kathy Gilliland in the Fort Collins St. Patrick's Day parade this Saturday morning. We'll be lining up near the corner of Remington and Mountain to support our candidates, remind this friendly Fort Collins crowd that 2014 is an election year, and wear all the green we can find. We'll need everybody in place by 9:30am, and we will have rally signs and banners for all. On St. Patrick's Day, everybody is Irish, so get your green on.

Don't forget to write our Silent Auction committee about your absolutely brilliant donation idea this week. Don't forget to call your friends and line up your table for our 2014 Larimer Democrats Annual Dinner and Silent Auction. If you help organize a ten person table and fall short, don't worry about it. We'll help fill out the remainder. We're going to have a great fundraiser, a great evening, and everybody is welcome. Please see the details below, or go online at Larimerdems.org.

--William Russell

"The great enemy of truth is very often not the lie--deliberate, contrived and dishonest--but the myth--persistent, persuasive and unrealistic. Too often we hold fast to the cliches of our forebears. We subject all facts to a prefabricated set of interpretations. We enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought."

--John F. Kennedy
