Message from the Chair

The Larimer County Democrats will caucus at eight different sites around the county on the evening of March 4th. We have neighborhood meetings in the mountains and our smaller communities, but we reserved larger venues for our more centralized House Districts of 51, 52, and 53. At these "supersites", we'll be able to hear from our house district candidates and meet with our neighbors about the driving issues of the community. This is the meeting where precincts select their neighborhood representatives, and I hope that we see some new precinct committee people step up and help elect Democrats at this critical grassroots juncture. At the precinct caucus of March 4th, you will also select your delegates for our Larimer County Assembly which will be held at Fossil Ridge High on March 29th. I encourage all Larimer County Democrats to attend these March meetings, catch up with your fellow activists and get ready for the general election of 2014. You can locate your caucus location and answer many FAQs by visiting LarimerDems.org. Bring a friend, there's plenty of room and everybody's welcome.

This Saturday morning, our Larimer County Democratic legislators will be holding a public forum on health care at the Harmony Library. Senator John Kefalas, Representatives Randy Fischer and Joann Ginal would love to hear from you; please see the details below.

--William Russell

""I will fight to protect Colorado's laws, and that includes laws that I don't personally support. However, above all else, the Attorney General swears an oath to uphold the United States Constitution. If a law is unconstitutional, the Attorney General has an obligation to say so."
