Message from the Chair
The ballots for the all-mail in election that ends at 7 pm, Tuesday, November 5th, have been mailed. If you have not received your ballot,  visit the Larimer County Clerk's website, to learn how to get a ballot.

Mail your ballot back or drop them off as soon as possible. The Larimer County Clerk has noted the proper postage on the secrecy sleeve (66 cents) and has opened service centers to register voters and fix errors. The mail-in ballot is exactly the same ballot that anyone receives if they wish to vote in person. It is counted the same way as any ballot voted in a polling place. Vote, sign the envelope, and watch your government get back to work. Visit the Larimer County Clerk's website for the location of service centers and more information on the current election.

--William Russell

"I believe Coloradans have a special bond with the land. Most would also agree that we have a moral obligation to be good stewards of our natural environment and conserve it for future generations."

--Senator Mark Udall

Fort Collins Senior Center Expansion Initiative
Stan Ulrich, "Mr. Democrat," died June 4th, but friends hope that his vision in working with the Senior Center's Expansion Committee will be fulfilled. Stan passionately believed that equal space for exercising bodies should be provided for minds. A proposed location of a theatre devoted to education, information, and entertainment will, if funded, be dedicated to Stan Ulrich and other outstanding senior volunteers.
To honor Stan's legacy, write a check which qualifies for 501C(3) status to Fort Collins Senior Center Expansion Initiative, P.O. Box 1217, Fort Collins, CO 80522, or call (970) 224-6026 for more information.
