Message from the Chair
Happy Colorado Day and welcome to August 2013, everybody. This summer has had some exceptional political activity for off election year, but August is normally the time when we start focusing on our future efforts. This year is going to be even more interesting with the issues and candidates already on the ground seeking public support. Loveland will have a fracking moratorium on their ballots in November, and volunteers are finishing up the petition process to place a fracking moratorium on Fort Collins ballots. If you have not signed to put this question on the Fort Collins ballot, see the details below for Healthy FOCO's Last Call event. On the candidate front, Joann Ginal is celebrating her Birthday and her re-election campaign. See the details below and help maintain a Democratic majority in the Colorado Legislature. And save the date for a little softball game with our favorite property rights Congressman, Jared Polis; more details coming soon. --William Russell
