Message from the Chair

I want to thank all of the volunteers that put together our 2013 Larimer County Democrats Dinner and Silent Auction last Saturday night. I've been receiving compliments on everybody's dedicated efforts to run a smooth show and raise funds for our future efforts. We had a great time with Congressman Keith Ellison jetting in to delivery with his message of economic justice for all and grassroots campaigning. Some photos of the dinner are up on our website: http://www.larimerdems.org/photosdinner.html

Our grassroots campaigns are the key to reaching every voter and representing our values in our elected bodies. Grassroots campaigns are the theme this week. While we were building for the efforts of 2014, a few brave candidates and many volunteers were holding off a great deal of campaign cash with their personal efforts in the 2013 Fort Collins municipal elections. I want to congratulate all the candidates and volunteers for fighting off the efforts of well funded political action committees to buy this little election; Much was spent for little change. Thanks to all.

Our next Larimer County Democrats event is a Barackfast with Senator Mark Udall on April 20th. Senator Udall stood up against the pipeline recently, this is your chance to express your support. See the details below.
