Message from the Chair
I hope everyone caught the cameo of the keynote speaker of our 2013 Annual Dinner and Silent Auction, Congressman Keith Ellison, defending Social Security on CNN last week. We're lucky to be Larimer County Democrats. We have the support of Congressional heavyweights such as
Rep. Polis, Rep. Ellison and Betsy Markey. We have the support of Colorado Democratic Party Chairman Rick Palacio. We are privileged to live and campaign in Larimer County, Colorado, where we will defend middle class families every chance we get. Don't miss your chance to spend some quality time with the future of your Larimer County Democratic Party by joining us on March 30th. Visit www.larimerdems.org to purchase your tickets today.
Our Silent Auction is an excellent chance to help us defend our Democratic values with a little bit of fundraising value. This is going to be a great year for our Silent Auction. You can see some of the auction items online at www.larimerdems.org/auction.html and we know that you have a really exciting idea for fundraising that is just begging to come out. I think you should follow through with a Silent Auction donation and write officemanager@Larimerdems.org right now. Your talent, service, vacation spot... it's all political progress at our dinner. Thank you.
While it is usually not our usual area of activity, I have to bring everyone's attention to the blatant attempt of the National Board of Realtors to buy the Fort Collins City Council elections. This organization, from Wilmington, Delaware, has invested almost $50,000 in the 2013 municipal elections in support of three conservative candidates. Click this link to see the reports. I hope everyone will vote in this municipal election and vote for the people who live here.

The Center is the nation's third-oldest organization providing support and advocacy for our gay, lesbian, transgender and bi-sexual population.
